Under the general direction of the Director and Chief Deputy Director of the California Civil Rights Department, the incumbent serves as an advisor to the executive team on the overall work and activities of the Department; provides executive leadership and supervision to teams conducting civil rights outreach and education, training and development, and administrative appeals; and leads special projects and initiatives including the CA vs. Hate Resource Line and Network.
