The mission of the Independent Emissions Market Advisory Committee reports to both the State Air Resources Board and the Joint Legislative Committee on Climate Change Policies on the environmental and economic performance of a specified market-based compliance mechanism and other relevant climate policies, protect the public health, safety, and welfare through the regulation of the practice of architecture and landscape architecture in the state by ensuring that those entering the practice meet standards of competency by way of education, experience, and examination.
