The Citizens Compensation Commission shall establish the annual salaries, medical, dental, insurance, and other similar benefits of state officers. “State Officer” as used, means the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Controller, Insurance Commissioner, Secretary of State, and Superintendent of Public Instruction, Treasurer, members of the State Board of Equalization and members of the Legislature.

At or before the end of each fiscal year, the commission shall, by a single resolution adopted by a majority of the membership of the commission, adjust the annual salary and the medical, dental, insurance, and other similar benefits of state officers.
