Description

The California Apprenticeship Council provides policy advice and recommendations on apprenticeship programs. They also issue rules and regulations that establish standards for apprenticeship programs, which could include equal opportunity programs, better inclusion of women and minorities in apprenticeship programs, minimum wages, maximum hours, and working conditions. The California Apprenticeship Council also conducts hearings and makes determinations on jurisdiction and other disputes related to apprenticeships. This Council will be instrumental in reaching this Administration’s goal of serving 500,000 apprentices by 2029.
