Under the general direction of the Executive Director and Chief Deputy Director, the Assistant Deputy Director of Workforce Policy will help the California Workforce Development Board (CWDB) advance Administrative priorities. Priorities could include initiatives like Jobs First and the Master Plan on Career Education. The Assistant Deputy Director will also engage with other state agencies, regional partners, the Legislature, and other needed stakeholders on implementation and policies related to the CWDB. This position may also assist with communications and will manage a team to further advance the goals and objectives of the CWDB.
