The Deputy Director works under the general guidance of the Executive Director of the California Film Commission (CFC). The Deputy Director manages the daily activities of the CFC and manages CFC staff. Thie Deputy Director also oversees the Regional Film Partnership Program and CFC’s participation in the Film Liaisons in California Statewide (FLICS) program. Both of these programs help promote production in the state. This person may also assist in budget planning meetings, communications, permitting, production assistance, government affairs, marketing, and policy research on topics related to the CFC.
