Under the general direction of the Undersecretary of Veterans Homes, the Administrator has overall responsibility for the care of aged and/or disabled veterans and the management of the facility and staff at the Barstow Veterans Home.  The Administrator directs the planning, implementation, modification, or termination of all projects and services; supervises the administration of all medical and non-medical service units.   They also ensure that the Home meet all licensing and certification standards through planning, training, physical facility improvements, and through policies and procedures with ongoing contracts with regulatory agencies.
